We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the renovation of a large residential property project in the Northeast. This exciting role encompasses all phases of this large-scale project, from planning and procurement to high-quality execution. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, and resourceful problem-solving skills to take ownership of a high-profile development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of the renovation project from inception to completion
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
Procure materials and services, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships effectively
Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
Monitor progress against key milestones and prepare regular status reports for senior management
Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track
Manage change requests and variations, ensuring proper documentation and client communication
Lead and motivate teams to achieve successful project outcomes while maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, or similar role within construction or property development (essential)
Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget and to specification
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Proficient in project management software and reporting tools
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and construction best practices
Full UK driving licence required
Examples of previously completed projects are desirable
CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) preferred
