Project Surveyor Fire Safety

Job Description

You will manage and deliver investment delivery of fire safety projects. This role provides an important link to several internal stakeholders and budget holders.
The role will be flexible to meet the business needs which could mean you will be working with Project Delivery teams as well as our surveying teams. It involves understanding the business requirements and resident`s requests and ensuring works are properly specified and delivered to target timescales and within budget.
You will be responsible for managing the technical services delivered by internal and external contractors and sound decision making based on standards, performance and cost will be essential.
Your responsibilities will include making technical decisions in relation to site visits, design/specification and contract management, quality control and one-off / ongoing project management. Key to success is delivering high levels of resident satisfaction, ensuring effective communication and that works are meeting the groups legal standards, obligatory responsibilities, and key performance indicators.

About you
You will have recognised Health and Safety Qualification i.e. NEBOSH/CSCS.
You will have a professional qualification in a building surveying, maintenance, construction, energy, or asset management related field.
You must have a fundamental knowledge of the construction industry in general, and field of Building Surveying/Project Management.
You must have knowledge and application of Decent Homes standard and Housing health and safety rating.
You will have experience of contributing to writing reports, policies, and procedures.
Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.
