We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to oversee our lettings department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for property management. This role involves managing the lettings process from start to finish, ensuring exceptional service to clients and tenants alike. The Lettings Manager will work closely with the team to achieve targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire lettings process, including property viewings, tenant referencing, and lease agreements. Manage relationships with landlords and tenants, providing guidance and support throughout the tenancy. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies related to lettings. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote available properties effectively. Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about local trends and pricing. Lead, train, and motivate the lettings team to achieve performance targets. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications in accordance with company procedures. Handle any tenant or landlord complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring resolutions are reached promptly.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Multilingual abilities are advantageous for interacting with a broader range of clients. Strong administrative skills, ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and on time. Exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritising effectively. A thorough understanding of the lettings market and relevant legislation is preferred but not essential for the right candidate willing to learn.
