Duties

Monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and actions taken Provide excellent customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries or concerns Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures

Skills

Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats or irregularities Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly to incidents Knowledge of security systems and protocols is advantageous but not essential A valid driver's licence may be required depending on the specific duties of the role
