We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment while working collaboratively with other kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and cooking processes. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Monitor food supplies and assist in inventory management, reporting any shortages or required orders. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for culinary arts with creativity in meal presentation. Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
