Family-run local pub group, Golden Lion Group, is looking for a The Bell Tower located on the corner of Kemp Town in East Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to drive and develop a healthy and successful business that is backed by an experienced support system.

The pub has a strong local following that is complimented by a good number of guests visiting the area on the back of our excellent reputation for great pub food and a welcoming atmosphere. Since being taken into the group and subsequent refurbishment in the Autumn of 2024 sales and reputation have steadily grown and The Bell Tower is certainly on the up!

Reporting directly into the company's Directors you will operate and care for the business as if it were your own.

We have an excellent Kitchen Team, so you will not be needed in the kitchen cooking! With your focus being front of house guest service and business building.

The pub has a team of around 10 employees - including the kitchen team - that will rely on you to lead them, inspire them and work with them during peak times to achieve high standards of service.

To be successful, you will need to be a natural host, out there with the employees motivated and supporting them to be the best they can be with a focus on excellent guest service.

The Ideal Candidates:

Strong leadership skills, be a real team player who thrives on motivation and empowering their team. You will have experience in running busy operations, overseeing large teams, and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business. it is essential that you are commercially minded and have a strong financial background. Proven experience in delivering business growth, budgets, staff retention. The ability to oversee operations that involve a high demand kitchen.

You must have had a minimum of 1 year experience of pub management to be considered for this role.

Salary: 37,000+performance related bonus
