Purchase Manager

to join our team.



The Purchase Manager will oversee the full procurement cycle for Lotan Group UK Ltd, focusing on sourcing new products, negotiating with suppliers, and driving cost-efficient purchasing. A key part of this role is identifying and launching new products to expand the

Belaco appliance portfolio

.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, evaluate, and source new products to expand the

Belaco product range

. Build and maintain strong supplier and factory partnerships (UK, EU, and Asia). Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and strategic agreements. Evaluate product samples, manage quality standards, and coordinate compliance tests. Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to propose product opportunities. Manage purchase orders, logistics coordination, and shipping documentation. Ensure inventory balance by forecasting demand and monitoring stock levels. Coordinate closely with product development, operations, and marketing teams. Ensure compliance with UK regulations, certifications, and safety requirements. Prepare purchasing reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reviews.

Requirements Essential Skills & Experience



2+ years

experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (preferably SDA/consumer goods). Strong understanding of

international sourcing

, especially China/Asia supply markets. Proven negotiation skills with manufacturers and suppliers. Experience reviewing samples, managing cost structures, and ensuring product quality. Strong understanding of import procedures and shipping terms (EXW, FOB, CIF). Excellent communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory/ERP systems.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)



Experience in the small domestic appliance (SDA) category. Knowledge of UK/EU product compliance (UKCA, CE, RoHS, test reports). Understanding of Amazon/retail product requirements. Ability to travel to trade shows and supplier visits.

Candidates who have completed a professional purchasing qualification or course

such as: CIPS Level 3-5 Supply Chain Management certification Purchasing/Procurement Diploma Any recognised procurement training (UK or international)
