We are looking for a skilled
Purchase Manager
to manage and oversee all company procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory, and ensuring all purchasing processes are cost-effective and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to support business operations.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and build strong, long-term relationships.
Manage stock levels and ensure timely procurement of goods.
Collaborate with warehouse and finance teams to coordinate deliveries and payments.
Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and generate management reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and UK procurement standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role.
Strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing best practices.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (ERP experience preferred).
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and meet deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
