Key Responsibilities:
Use established forecasting tools and systems to plan and place purchase orders.
Review inventory levels and forecasts to ensure optimal stock availability.
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and follow up on order status to ensure on-time delivery.
Process and manage purchase orders within existing internal systems.
Resolve order discrepancies, delays, and quality issues as needed.
Prepare and update purchasing reports for the Business Manager and Office Manager.
Support ongoing improvements to procurement processes and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement (required).
Familiarity with forecasting tools, purchasing software, or ERP systems.
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
