Purchasing Assistant

to join our friendly team in Newtown.

The Role

As a key member of our operations team, you'll help ensure that our products are purchased efficiently and delivered on time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, suppliers, and processes, and who takes pride in accuracy and proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and update product forecasts to support purchasing decisions Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and complete delivery Liaise with suppliers to resolve any order or delivery issues Maintain accurate purchasing and transport documentation Analyse and report on supplier performance, efficiency, and costs Identify and implement improvements to purchasing processes Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams

About You

Previous experience in a purchasing role is preferred Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills A keen eye for detail and problem-solving ability Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
