Join Our Team as a Purchasing Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting ongoing usage of stock products based on historic usage and sales projections.

Placing orders based on the forecasts you have created for all UK Suppliers.

Expediting/Delaying purchasing orders as usage fluctuates to maintain correct stock levels.

Take initiative to identify and solve problems, contributing to continuous improvement across the organization.

Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, maintaining clarity and professionalism.

Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Champion a customer-first mindset, delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.

A few admin details:

Your hours of work will be:

Monday to Friday 8:15 am until 4:45pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday.

Any other benefits:

Where we are based:

We are based in Mid-Wales in a lovely market town called Newtown. You must be able to commute here each day, but you will get to enjoy the rolling Welsh hills on the way!
