JOB SUMMARY




As a Purchasing Assistant in our Purchasing department, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for every guest. You will be a true ambassador of Pan Pacific London, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Assist in sourcing, purchasing goods and good receiving.

Compare prices, specifications accurately, track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.

Maintain and update purchase specification, requisition, and purchase orders according to hotel's policies.

Assist on stocktake of Beverage storage areas on the monthly basis. Works closely with Cost Controller in advance of menu changes on both Food and Beverage to ensure products are sourced and negotiated in advance of changes. Coordinate with storekeepers and department heads to ensure adequate supply levels.

Work with the vendors to ensure proper maintenance of the procurement systems.

Log any potential problems with suppliers. Follow up on the status of orders and deliveries. Research potential suppliers against the needs of the business. Maintain accurate purchasing files, price lists, and documentation.

Ensure all purchasing activities follow hotel policies and established financial guidelines. Support the Purchasing Manager in preparing reports.
