Job Overview


Support the purchasing department to procure the best available quality for the lowest prince and ensure that sufficient stock is maintained within the Northern Ireland facility.

Duties



Run reports from EFAC's to decide on what needs ordering in a timely manner in line with pre set reorder points. Monitor changes in usage of items and report back to purchasing Manager so decisions can be made on changing stock levels. Work with purchasing Manager to manage suppliers both existing and new, monitoring their costs and building and maintaining relationships whilst getting the best deal for CTD. Ensure a Pro Active relationship with CTD Glasgow Sales and Rotherham Sales to ensure a seamless structure is achieved. Prepare enquiries and send to approved suppliers as well as sourcing new parts by using internet to find suppliers. Working with Purchasing Manager to Review Master Stock Summary weekly to order stock for both Glasgow and Rotherham Understand and follow CTD communication Strategy always and maintain KPI expectations. Any other duties for which you are deemed capable of by Purchasing Manager.
To support Purchasing Department, ensuring costs are kept the lowest but quality is not jeopardized and secure a synergy between Rotherham and Glasgow Purchasing and Sales Departments.
