What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for overseeing, examining, and deciphering extensive datasets to generate valuable research to aid in the development of trade ideas. Utilize Python to develop robust and scalable data analysis scripts and applications. Leverage Snowflake to efficiently store, manage, and query large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Work with PostgreSQL to design and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver data-driven solutions. Analyse and interpret complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for the development of actionable insights.

Key role responsibilities

• You will be building a Python Trading Platform. Directly on the Trade Floor.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, entrepreneurial and highly motivated as they will be able to own the role and make a significant contribution.
• The Python/Quant Developer will interact with front office broking staff across various divisions of the Company to build analytical tools, automate processes and work with liquidity providers to analyse flow.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent
• Strong interest in financial markets
• Coding language: Strong Python Experience
• Any Experince with AWS or AZURE and Some JavaScript would be nice to have
• Work experience in investment banking, finance, or similar environment would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills

Note this role is based in Central London- it will be hybrid working.
