Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with development teams to implement effective testing strategies, enhance product performance, and contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, system, and performance testing. Utilise test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit to streamline testing processes. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software meets business requirements and user expectations. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot software defects using debugging techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a DevOps environment to integrate continuous integration practices using tools like Jenkins and GitLab. Engage in release management activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Conduct performance testing using LoadRunner and other tools to assess application responsiveness under load. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and translate them into actionable test scenarios. Maintain documentation of test results, defects, and quality assurance processes for future reference.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA / Software Testing roles. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Experience with manual testing and at least one test automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright). Hands-on experience using bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation, Certified QA Professional) are an advantage.

Pay: 32,000.00-42,500.00 per year
