Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software performance, identify defects, and implement effective testing strategies. The successful applicant will have a strong background in software development and quality assurance methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Conduct manual and automated testing to identify, record, and document bugs. Collaborate with developers and project teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage. Validate new features and regression test existing functionality during release cycles. Use bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar) to manage and report defects. Work closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues. Ensure that all deliverables meet company and client quality standards. Contribute to improving QA processes, automation frameworks, and best practices. Participate in sprint planning and provide input on testing scope and timelines. Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure product readiness for release.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA / Software Testing roles. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Experience with manual testing and at least one test automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright). Hands-on experience using bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation, Certified QA Professional) are an advantage.
