We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across all dishes
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen area
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
Ensure proper stock control and inventory management to minimise waste and maximise profitability
Assist in the organisation of kitchen operations during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Serve as a role model for team members by demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and excellent customer service skills
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Culinary expertise with a passion for creating innovative dishes that delight guests
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, training, and development of staff
