We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team at out busy MHS/Private orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for patients.

Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards. Carry out sterilisation of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to uphold infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling, including follow-up appointments, to ensure optimal patient flow. Utilise IT systems for patient management and record keeping, demonstrating proficiency in relevant software applications. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless operations within the practice.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent nursing skills with a thorough understanding of dental procedures and protocols. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and using practice management software. Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Highly organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
