We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better dental health. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice, including scheduling appointments and managing inventory of dental supplies, managing smooth work of equipment, booking repairs and so on.

Qualifications

Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications in dental nursing are essential. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Previous experience in patient care within a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and scheduling tasks is beneficial. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
