We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team at Little Common Dental Practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental nursing, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped practice dedicated to delivering exceptional dental services.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Prepare treatment rooms with sterile instruments and materials, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques. Provide patient care by offering pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring comfort and understanding. Manage clinical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment notes in compliance with GDPR and healthcare regulations. Adhere to GDC guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Support infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Educate patients on oral health practices and promote preventive care strategies.

Skills

Proven experience as a dental nurse with relevant qualifications (e.g., GDC registration). Knowledge of dental software systems such as SOE Exact. Strong understanding of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with dental procedures and assisting with complex treatments. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices. Experience

:

Dental assisting: 2 year (preferred) Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration
