Job Description

Dental nurse required to join our team in Great Barr, Birmingham.

We have a close knit team with varied amounts of dental experience and qualifications, who all support and assist each other to contribute to the smooth running of the practice and allow us to be able to provide a high level of care to our patients.

Wisdom Dental Care is well established 6 surgery, friendly, dental practice with a mix of NHS, private and practice membership patients.

We are currently seeking a qualified dental nurse for start as soon as possible.

We will also consider trainee nurses, who are registered on an accredited dental nursing qualification and have at least 6 months surgery experience.

Monday - Friday 08:30-17:30 - occasional additional weekend hours on a rota basis
In surgery:

Assisting the dentist chairside Re-stocking the surgery Preparing materials for appointments Carrying out decontamination duties Operating the suction Processing x-rays scanning using iTero Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics outlined by the Association of Dental Nurses and the GDC To work on establishing productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
On reception (occasional cover) :

Arranging appointments, ensuring clinicians are regularly at full capacity Answering telephone and face to enquiries in a timely and friendly manner Processing patient payments and paperwork All admin duties as required.
