We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile. Provide exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilisation of equipment and cleaning of treatment areas. Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, scheduling appointments, and updating medical histories as required. Support administrative tasks such as organising supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring the clinic remains well-organised. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages. Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and instructions. Background in nursing or dental assisting is preferred; relevant experience will be highly regarded. Good IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling. Organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and reliability at all times.
