We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our NHS/Private dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities



Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials. Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments. Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment. Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and ensuring confidentiality at all times. Scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating with the reception team to optimise clinic efficiency. Supporting administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensuring the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless care delivery.

Qualifications



Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling. A recognised qualification in dental nursing or equivalent is desirable. Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy towards patients.
