We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, inventory management, and other administrative tasks as required. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. GDC registered. Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software; familiarity with dental software is advantageous. Willingness to learn is key.
