An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced nurse to join our highly skilled team at Springfield Dental Care on a full time permanent basis.

We deliver excellent NHS and Private care to our patients including implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

The Role:

We are looking for a friendly and personable nurse with good communication skills. The role will be assisting the dentist in surgery, however, you may be required to cover the reception desk on occasion.

If you have extra skills to bring to the team then we are very willing to accommodate so that you can put them to use.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, from 08:00 - 17:45. We are open 365 days a year as an urgent dental care centre, so we also request nurses to work one Saturday or Sunday a month on a rota basis. The hours on a Saturday/Sunday are 09:00 - 12:00 with a different sessional rate of pay which can be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities & Duties

Assisting dentists during procedures Taking and processing X-rays of patients Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments Updating and maintaining dental records on dentally.

GDC registered Up to date with all CPDs Hep B immunity Good communication skills Hard working Well organised Punctual
Pay is dependent on experience
