We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising equipment and ensuring the treatment rooms are clean and organised.
Record patient information accurately using IT systems, including treatment notes and medical histories.
Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-up communications to optimise practice efficiency.
Support with administrative tasks such as stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining records in accordance with practice protocols.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, including infection control procedures.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Good organisational skills to manage appointments, records, and supplies efficiently.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practices for record keeping and communication purposes.

Knowledge of nursing principles applicable within a dental setting is desirable but training can be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
