We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety standards Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including setting up equipment and handing instruments Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout appointments Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times Take and develop dental radiographs as required Provide post-treatment advice and instructions to patients Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and team members Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems Strong communication skills with the ability to reassure and inform patients clearly Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK healthcare system is preferred but not essential for internship roles Ability to work as part of a team with professionalism and empathy
