Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dental professionals, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. This role involves assisting during dental procedures, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatments Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Take and develop dental radiographs as required Provide oral health advice and post-treatment instructions to patients Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and organise equipment efficiently Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

Working hours Monday to Friday 0830-1715. Some weekend work may be available

Salary Dependant on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38.75 per week
