We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care, and maintaining a smooth clinical environment. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in compliance with practice protocols Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained Support patients throughout their visit, addressing queries with professionalism and empathy Manage appointment scheduling and organise patient flow efficiently Adhere to health and safety standards, including infection control procedures

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care, preferably within a dental or healthcare environment Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems Excellent organisational skills to coordinate multiple tasks effectively Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst demonstrating initiative A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient service
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 14.42 per hour

Expected hours: 35.5 per week
