Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, utilising IT systems effectively for data entry and retrieval. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment schedules, coordinating with patients to optimise clinic operations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and assist in patient education. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and appointments is advantageous.
