We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining an organised clinical environment. Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments You will benefit from the support of a LDU assistant but you need to be able to sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions, ensuring clear communication Record patient information accurately using IT systems and update records as required Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic clinical environment at all times Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and health & safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and team members Basic knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management (experience with SOE would be desirable) Excellent communication skills to reassure and inform patients effectively Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy at all times

Pay: 15.25-17.00 per hour
