My Dentist Effingham Square is excited to be growing! We're looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a practice that is not only thriving, but also preparing for an exciting expansion into brand-new, state-of-the-art premises in Parkgate.

About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified Dental Nurse who is friendly, professional, and eager to provide excellent patient care. In this role as a Dental Nurse at our Effingham Square practice, you will primarily support our dentists chairside and occasionally assist on reception. You'll be a crucial part of our friendly team, ensuring patients feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside Assistance: Provide chairside support during dental treatments and procedures, ensuring the dentist has the necessary instruments and materials. Patient Care: Look after patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure they have a positive experience. Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation standards at all times. Clinical Support: Handle dental charting and record keeping accurately; perform digital scanning when required. Equipment Maintenance: Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and surgery cleanliness. Reception Duties: Occasionally cover the reception area, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing phone inquiries with a warm, helpful attitude.
About You (Qualifications & Skills)

Qualified & Registered: You are a qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered) with at least one year of experience; however, newly qualified nurses will also be considered. Friendly & Professional: You have a caring chairside manner and excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues. Team Player: You work well in a small team, supporting others and taking initiative when needed. Organised & Reliable: You have strong attention to detail in maintaining patient records and following protocols. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with R4 dental software is a plus (training can be provided if you're new to it).
