We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and consent forms, using IT systems efficiently. Ensure the dental environment adheres to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and stock management. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Assist with the sterilisation of dental instruments and the maintenance of clinical equipment.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with patients and team members. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Basic IT proficiency for maintaining accurate records and using practice management software. Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is desirable but training can be provided for those new to the field. Ability to work well within a team while also demonstrating independence when required. Pay: 13.99-15.44 per hour
