We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining a smooth clinical workflow. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments Sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment advice, including oral hygiene instructions Record patient information accurately using IT systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and updating patient records Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with infection control standards Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care Proficiency in IT systems utilised for record keeping and appointment management Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative when required Relevant dental nursing qualifications or willingness to undertake necessary training is desirable but not essential
