We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment. Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients. Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental practice in accordance with health and safety standards. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, liaising with patients to confirm or reschedule appointments as needed. Support administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting, preferably in dentistry or nursing. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care. Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy towards patients. Relevant dental nursing qualification or registration is required.
