We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dental professionals and ensuring patients receive excellent care in a comfortable environment. Duties



Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised Provide high-quality patient care, including explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times Support with infection control protocols, including sterilisation of equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment Take and develop dental radiographs as required, adhering to safety standards Provide post-treatment advice and instructions to patients Organise appointment schedules and ensure efficient workflow within the practice Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and handling correspondence

Skills



Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Good IT literacy for managing electronic health records and scheduling systems Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
