We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules, including booking and confirming patient appointments. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and oral hygiene instructions. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.

Experience

GDC Qualifed Dental Nurse Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous. Strong command of English for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
