Ridgway Dental is an established private practice situated in Wimbledon Village. We are a warm and welcoming practice with state-of-the-art facilities. We have a wide team of dental care professionals and specialists containing 4 surgeries.

We are looking for positive people with excellent professional presentation, confidence to communicate in a high service and welcoming manner with patients and a great attitude to maintaining a fun and happy team spirit, along with a dedication to patient care, organisation and timekeeping.

We are looking for a

qualified dental nurse

to join our team on a full time basis, including some Saturdays. Our practice is committed to learning, education and training. We will help you kickstart your nursing career and provide you with all the necessary support academically for you to achieve your qualification! As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about dentistry and have strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:


- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside support to the dentist during treatments
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Understand the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
- Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and specialists
- Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
- Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

Experience:


- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse preferred but not required
- Proficient in using dental software and IT systems
- Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is an asset

Pay: 12.50-16.50 per hour
