The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Valid GDC registration
Strong clinical skills and knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality patient care
Desire to contribute to a growing practice
Team-oriented mindset
Previous reception or administrative experience preferred
Computer literacy and experience with dental practice management software
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during various dental procedures and treatments
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and address any concerns
Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Monitor patient comfort during treatments and provide post-operative care instructions
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care
Reception Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome patients to the practice and manage the reception area
Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the practice diary efficiently
Process patient registrations and update patient information
Handle telephone enquiries professionally and promptly
Process payments and manage financial transactions
Coordinate with insurance providers when necessary
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and correspondence
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Support marketing initiatives and patient communication strategies
