We are seeking a friendly and organised Qualified Dental Nurse/ Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties

Welcome patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, directing enquiries appropriately
Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and maintain confidentiality at all times
Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating patient information, and filing documents
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow during clinic hours
Provide basic patient care support when necessary, including answering questions about procedures or treatments
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
Assist with other administrative duties as required to support the dental team
Qualifications
GDC Registered and all CPD upto date
Previous experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within a healthcare setting
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with dental or medical management software
Knowledge of patient care principles and confidentiality regulations is advantageous
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Friendly demeanour with excellent customer service skills
Relevant qualifications in nursing or healthcare are beneficial but not essential
