MGTS is an innovative and resourceful leader in the provision of workforce development solutions through education, training and assessment providing apprentice training as well as a full range of commercial courses.

MGTS have a new opportunity for a Quality and Compliance Manager. As the Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be accountable for the development, implementation and monitoring of quality improvement and quality assurances processes/procedures across the business. A member of the Management Team, the successful candidate will be a positive and solution focused individual who will maintain effective ongoing working relationships and communication with a number of key internal and external stakeholders, including awarding bodies, external verifiers, employers, delivery teams and the senior leadership.

The successful candidate will lead and direct on all Quality and Compliance requirements of the business in support of the strategic and operational goals, enabling the successful delivery of business strategy, objectives and targets whilst adhering to regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency and performance. The role will be based at Coventry but will be responsible for all operational quality and compliance requirements across all MGTS sites.

This role is office based with some flexibility for hybrid working once the training period is complete. Hours are 36 per week.

The following skills and knowledge are essential:



Strong experience of successful quality management ideally within a Training Provider or College environment. Ability to set strategy and implement processes for the functional area of quality within the business. Capable of identifying and implementing ways to optimise the operational model to minimise the Cost of Quality. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills at all organisational levels. Credibility, strong communication and influencing skills to drive group and individual behavioural and performance improvement. High level of attention to detail. Adaptable self-starter who can think creatively. Excellent project management and time management skills. Competent IT skills to include PowerPoint, Excel, Word and database manipulation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:



Implement a continuous improvement culture, with a quality driven focus. Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements and plans for implementation. Conduct quality monitoring and evaluation of apprenticeship programmes, accurately evaluating programme performance and achievement rates and designing robust action plans to support timely improvement as required. Promoting the effective use of Quality Management and Assurance tools across the business and present reports to Management to ensure that performance is appropriately measured. Leading and preparing the company for audits, assessments and inspections from all accreditation bodies and customers including the position of Nominee for the company in Ofsted audits. Lead and maintain the Quality improvement Plan (QIP) and the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Maintaining an awareness of new and proposed legislation that impacts the business and communicating any changes to the Management Team.
