Quality and Compliance Manager

Role Overview
As Quality and Compliance Manager you'll work closely with the Head of Quality and Compliance and Medical Director to drive the Quality and Governance strategy within the company. You will lead internal and external audits and assessments and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
To work closely with the Medical Director, Chief of Staff and Head of Quality and Compliance in leading the Quality and Governance strategy within the company.
Develop and maintain the Company's Quality Management System, including the Policy Library
Assess, monitor and review performance to ensure full compliance with the CQC, QSI, BS 700000, ISO 9001, ISO27001 and ISO14001 and another other relevant National Standards.
Lead the preparation for inspection or assessment visits from the external assessment bodies and other relevant regulatory bodies
Chair Quality Meetings.
Act as an exemplary role model in quality improvement offering advice and support to others, whilst ensuring continuous governance compliance throughout the organisation.
Oversee the management of incidents and complaints, implement corrective actions, and analyse and identify trends
Ensure appropriate reporting, investigation and management of incidents is undertaken in accordance with requirements of CQC and HSE. Develop and devise procedures as necessary.
Support the Head of Quality and Compliance in managing the company insurance policies and legal cases.
Act as the Health and Safety Manager to enable the smooth running of Health & Safety and ensure appropriate information and reports are available as required.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
Qualifications
Experience in quality management, compliance, or governance roles in healthcare.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations (ideally in radiology, but not essential).
Desirable attributes:
An excellent understanding of Clinical Governance either from a similar role or a more hands on Clinical position
Good working knowledge of the CQC, QSI and ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
The ability to take responsibility for a vital position within our organisation
