Job Description

We're working with a leading interiors contractor renowned for delivering high-quality commercial workspaces. They're looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their traditional fit out division, supporting projects across the commercial and office interiors sector.

This role would suit a proactive Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You'll be responsible for the financial management of 2-3 live projects, typically valued between 2-3 million, ensuring they're delivered on budget and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial aspects of traditional Cat A and Cat B fit out projects Oversee cost planning, tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts Monitor project costs and cashflow, identifying opportunities for cost savings Work closely with Contracts Managers and the wider delivery team to ensure commercial and contractual compliance Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the office fit out or commercial interiors sector Experience managing projects between 2-3 million in value Sound knowledge of contracts (JCT preferred) and commercial processes Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously Detail-oriented, commercially astute, and confident working independently
