About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to join our expanding team, specialising in

pub, bar, and hospitality fit-out projects

across the UK.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing all financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects--from initial costing through to final account--ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

As this is a field-based role, regular travel to sites nationwide will be required. A full UK driving licence and a flexible approach to travel are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all

commercial and contractual

elements of fit-out projects. Prepare

cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

. Conduct

site measurements, valuations, and progress assessments

. Manage

subcontractor enquiries

, quotations, and orders. Evaluate and process

variations and change orders

. Produce accurate

monthly cost reports

and financial forecasts. Work closely with

project managers and site teams

to maintain financial control. Identify opportunities for

value engineering and cost optimisation

. Support the

tendering and pricing

of new projects and opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Quantity Surveyor

within the

fit-out or refurbishment sector

, ideally in pub, bar, or hospitality environments. Strong understanding of

construction contracts

and procurement processes. Excellent

numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

with high attention to detail. Confident

communication and negotiation

abilities. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

and QS software (e.g., Excel, CostX). Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Desirable Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in

Quantity Surveying

or a related discipline. Experience working for a

fit-out contractor

or

specialist interiors company

.

RICS membership

(or currently working towards accreditation).
