About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team, focusing on pub, bar, and hospitality fit-out projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will oversee project costs, budgets, and financial reporting from start to finish, ensuring delivery is profitable, timely, and meets our quality standards. This role requires regular travel to various sites nationwide, so flexibility and a valid driving license are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all commercial and contractual elements of fit-out projects Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Conduct site measurements and valuations Manage subcontractor inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders Assess and handle variations and change orders Provide accurate monthly cost reports and forecasts Collaborate closely with project management and site teams to maintain financial control Contribute to value engineering and cost reduction strategies Support tendering activities and assist in pricing new projects

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out or refurbishment projects, preferably within pub, bar, or hospitality sectors Solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software (e.g., Excel, CostX) Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel nationwide

Desirable

Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field Experience with fit-out contractors or interior specialists RICS membership or working towards accreditation
