Quantity Surveyor - Chatham Office

"We're looking for an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our Chatham team."

The Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 8 years' experience in the high-end commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector, ideally within the London market.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage all commercial aspects of complex projects, including those involving significant structural alterations. A strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management principles is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects ranging from 1M to 100M. Prepare and manage interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes. Identify, value, and agree variations and change controls. Provide accurate forecasting and cash flow reporting. Proactively manage commercial risks and ensure best value throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Clients to ensure successful project delivery.
