Roles & Responsibilities

Measurements and planning Working from a schedule of rates and submitting quotes for approval Organisation of labour and suppliers Project management of lower value jobs Site visits and inspections across the South West Stakeholder management, maintaining excellent client relationships Performance monitoring- customer satisfaction, quality surveys Variations, valuations and invoicing We are willing to consider someone with quoting experience using the NHF and NSR rates that is looking to progress into a QS role

Essential Relevant Knowledge and Experience

Demonstrable experience of client management and engagement in the construction industry Commercially aware, with experience/understanding of working from NHF & NSR schedule of rates Experience effectively managing and organising labour Proven ability to prioritise and manage one's workload effectively, keeping to client deadlines A construction background with solid understanding of a variety of trades

Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management First Aid Health and Safety

Highly developed interpersonal skills - works professionally, collaboratively; and is comfortable with conflict resolution Ability to prioritise in order to meet client deadlines. Highly organised; capable of managing a broad portfolio of activities with effective time management Ability to use one's initiative, thinking logically to problem solve IT literate Goal focused and committed to delivering a professional and quality service to clients Flexible in nature and suited to a changeable working environment Naturally organised Full Uk Driving Licence DBS Clearance will be required
