Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and maintenance planned projects across a diverse commercial property portfolio across North Yorkshire. The role involves cost forecasting, contract management, and ensuring value for money across all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cost forecasting, budgeting, and value reconciliation

Administer contracts and subcontracts, including change control and final accounts

Support procurement and supply chain management

Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with governance and legal standards

Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline

CSCS card (or willingness to obtain) o Strong commercial understanding of civil engineering operations

Excellent knowledge of NEC and other standard construction contracts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire
