About the Role

We're seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to support our expanding portfolio of

infrastructure and highways

projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of our works -- from initial tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure value for money. Prepare and agree interim valuations, variations / compensation events, and final accounts. Monitor project costs, forecast expenditure, and report on commercial performance through management of monthly CVRs. Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and manage change and risk appropriately. Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

About You

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure or highways industry, ideally with experience in tarmac surfacing or civils and drainage projects. Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial best practices. Proficient in MS office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Self-driven, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
