We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our North East team to work on a major scheme in Darlington


Location:

Darlington - Onsite


Hours:

40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

The Project Quantity Surveyor will work on a flagship project in Darlington as part of the project team delivering an 85M new build campus .



As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in enhancing value for money while maintaining quality standards on our projects. Working collaboratively with our team, you'll manage costs, mitigate risks, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial expertise in a supportive environment.


What will you be responsible for?





As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering financial excellence across projects. Your day to day will include:


Managing applications for payment from subcontractors and preparing client payment applications Monitoring expenditure against budgets through detailed Cost Value Reconciliation reports Preparing final accounts and working collaboratively with stakeholders Contributing to commercial information collation and reporting Building positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams

What are we looking for?





This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:


You have experience working within a tier 1 main contractor environment You possess strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and project commercial management You're skilled in CVR reporting and financial analysis You enjoy collaborative working and building relationships with diverse stakeholders You hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
